District 2 B Fall Meeting – Fall Flannel Festival

The Fall Flannel Festival is hosted by Howell Garden Club, District 2B. This event provides members (and their guests) to enjoy presentations, lunch, vendors, and time to visit with fellow Garden Club members. The event begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM (Registration begins at 8:30 AM). The cost is $30. Michigan Garden Club Officers will provide us with MGC news and annoucements and there will be two presentations. George Papdellis, from Telly’s Greenhouses will provide us with a little history of their business, community involvement, and the latest news of plant materials. Tim and Kathi Bennet, from Turtle Bee Farms will present a diverse program on “How Important Bees Are” and what it takes to become a bee keeper.

A silent auction will be open for bid. Anyone who has taken advantage of the wonderful items and baskets that clubs have donated for our auctions can tell you what great deals these can be.
