Working with the future stewards of our land is a very exciting and fulfilling experience for a garden club. To support these efforts MGC sponsors the following three Youth Contests:
- Smokey Bear/Woodsy Owl Poster Contest Grades 1-5
- Youth Sculpture Contest Grades 4-8
- High School Essay Contest Grades 11-12
Because the school year begins in late August or early September the deadline to submit the Youth Contest Applications for the Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl is January 15th. The deadline to submit the Youth Contest Sculpture Applications is also January 15th.
The deadline for the High School Essay Contest is March 15th.
