The morning begins with a focus on using native Michigan grasses in horticulture. That will be followed by a discussion of efforts toward sustainable floristry at the global, business, and individual levels.

Hear from a local florist about new trends and materials in the floral design industry. That will be followed by a workshop on manipulation of botanicals in floral design, enhanced by demonstration and hands-on activity.

Panels and group discussion will consider how to "avoid making a scene" and other tantalizing topics. Lunch and two breaks are included for the low cost of$35 for the entire day.
