Sweetwater Evening Garden Club – October Meeting
Location: Acme Township Hall, 6100 US 31 North, Williamsburg, MI
The Sweetwater Evening Garden Club will feature Frank Duturi, Director of Traverse City Public Services, and Sarna Salzman, Founder and Director, to highlight how our community is converting leaves and other yard debris into compost. They will also introduce the SEEDS program which is an in-vessel pilot program for composting foods and other organic materials.
The public is invited to join us to learn more about composting. This is a free event and no reservations are required. For questions or directions, call Diane at (904) 318-6785.
MGC District 1 2025 Fall Conference
The Farmington Garden Club is hosting the MGC District 1 Conference. Featuring Speakers, Vendors, and Luncheon.
Fall Conference
All garden clubs in District 2A will connect with one another and gain knowledge by attending the programs in the morning and then hearing the afternoon speakers. A silent auction and 50/50 raffle will be held.
Our theme is “Pumpkins and Posies.” We look forward to seeing our club members attend.

Wildlife Recovery, afternoon speakers, Joe and Barb Rogers, founders. Topic: “Rescuing Michigan Birds of Prey.”

D3B Fall District Meeting
District 3B is hosting an event in Niles Michigan on Wednesday October 1. Our speaker, Susan Randall, is an indoor gardening specialist with many years of experience of indoor and outdoor gardening. Susan will speak about indoor tropical plants, including orchids and more!
We will be meeting from 10 am to 2 pm. There will be some specific vendors and lunch will be served. More details will come soon.
