80th Blue Star (2015)
The Buchanan Garden Club dedicated a Blue Star Memorial By-Way on July 4, 2015. The marker is located at the Gazebo Garden in the heart of the city, 107 W. Front Street, Buchanan.
The Garden Club transformed the area around the gazebo into a fitting memorial. Over 1,000 plants, trees and shrubs were planted and a new arbor was installed.
While the Garden Club is no longer affiliated with MGC, Inc. they remain good stewards of the marker and associated garden.
