80th Blue Star (2015)
The Buchanan Garden Club dedicated a Blue Star Memorial By-Way on July 4, 2015. The marker is located in the heart of the city at 107 W. Front Street, Buchanan (corner of W. Front and S. Oak Streets).
The Garden Club transformed the area around the gazebo into a fitting memorial. Over 1,000 plants, trees and shrubs were planted and a new arbor was installed.
While the Garden Club is no longer affiliated with MGC, Inc. they remain good stewards of the marker and associated garden.
