29th Blue Star (2007)
The Swan Creek Garden Club dedicated a Blue Star Memorial By-Way on June 10, 2007. The marker is located at VFW Post 4093, 700 Carleton Rockwood Road, Carleton.
The Garden Club purchased the boulder and the marker and organized the event in conjunction with VFW Post 4093 and its Ladies Auxiliary. Janice and Gerald Mittlestat helped lead the memorial efforts. Janice is a lifetime member of MGC, Inc.
