27th Blue Star (2007)
Town & Country Garden Club of Dowagiac dedicated a Blue Star Memorial By-Way on May 28, 2007. The marker is located at Riverside Cemetery, 241 S. Front Street, Dowagiac.
The marker was unveiled by Donna Schuur, Jane Winchester and Glenda Gibson. Mayor Don Lyons accepted the memorial on behalf of the city. Marie Bailey of Hartford shared information regarding Blue Star Mothers of America. Lynn Dinvald, District 3’s Director, was in attendance.
The Garden Club is very proud of their By-Way marker and have a wreath nearby all year round.
