32nd Blue Star (2008) and 3rd Gold Star (2025)
Eden’s Garden Club, in cooperation with the City of Monroe, dedicated a Blue Star Memorial on June 14, 2008. And, on yet-to-be, they dedicated a Gold Star Memorial By-Way (*). The two markers share a garden, next to the pavilion, at Veteran’s Park, 1599 N. Custer Road, Monroe.
* The Gold Star marker was ordered in 2020 but the dedication was delayed due to Covid 19 until April 15, 2025. The Gold Star marker accompanies the Blue Star marker in magnificent red, white and blue garden.
