32nd Blue Star (2008) and 3rd Gold Star (2023)
Eden’s Garden Club, in cooperation with the City of Monroe, dedicated a Blue Star Memorial on June 14, 2008. And, on yet-to-be, they dedicated a Gold Star Memorial By-Way (*). The two markers share a garden at Veteran’s Park, 1599 N. Custer Road, Monroe.
* The Gold Star marker was ordered in 2020 but the dedication was delayed due to Covid 19.
