72nd Blue Star (2014)
The Lotus Garden Club dedicated a Blue Star Memorial on May 3, 2014. The marker is located at Sawyer Homestead, 320 E. Front Street, Monroe.
The Sawyer Homestead (previously, the Navarre House) was added to Michigan’s Historic Sites on June 19, 1975. The US, Michigan and Monroe flags fly continuously at the Homestead.
