23th Blue Star (2005)
The Allen Park Late Bloomers Garden Club, in cooperation with the City of Allen Park, dedicated a Blue Star Memorial on August 14, 2005. The marker is located on the corner of Southfield Road and Outer Drive. In 2005, this was the site of a VA Hospital. Today, it is a Historical Site, known as the Veterans Memorial Plaza.
