The Gladwin Co Master Gardeners & Friends along with the Butterfly Kaleidoscope Garden Club invite you to an Earth Day event on Thursday, April 18, 2024 starting at 4:30 p.m. at the Gladwin High School, 1400 Spring St., Gladwin, MI  48624…Speakers: Joe Nash: Topic: Foraging, to Gather Food from the Forest/Nature”   Zach Bates: Topic: Cedar River Project: The Importance of planting Natives vs. Invasive Species.  Martha Holzheuer, “Landscaping with Natives”  2.20 hrs of education..vendors…refreshments…free tree compliments of the Gladwin Conservation District…classes begin at 5:00 p.m. each educational opportunity will be offered at 5:00 pm, 5:55 pm and 6:50 pm. “Plastic Pollution” A Garden Club of Michigan Online Presentation

The Garden Club of Michigan (GCM) will  host an online presentation, “Plastic Pollution”, with Kim Cameron of Beyond Plastics on Tuesday, February 13 at 7 p.m. via Zoom. The lecture is free and open to the public; interested participants should email to register.

Junior League Gardeners present: Celebrations of Spring; An NGC  Standard Flower Show.  The show will be held on Thursday May 16, 2024 and opened to the public from 4:00-6:00pm.  It will be held at The Shore Club Community Building, 200 Shore Club Drive, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48080.
